Rencontre entre Bruno Amoussou et l’ambassadeur de Chine au Bénin : Visite de courtoisie ou enjeux diplomatiques ?

Ce mardi 15 octobre 2024, Bruno Amoussou, ancien président du parti Union Progressiste (désormais Union Progressiste le Renouveau – UPR) et ex-président de l’Assemblée nationale, a accueilli à son domicile l’ambassadeur de Chine au Bénin, Peng Jingtao. Bien que les détails précis de cette visite n’aient pas été rendus publics, il est probable que celle-ci ait été motivée par un souci de s’enquérir de l’état de santé de Bruno Amoussou, suite aux récentes rumeurs concernant son décès sur les réseaux sociaux. Lors de cette rencontre, Bruno Amoussou était vêtu d’un élégant boubou blanc, un signe de sérénité pour ses proches et partisans.
