🚨 Non-port de casque – Tragédie à Aglangandan : Mort d’un homme lors d’une opération policière 🚔

non-port de casque.Aglangandan, 17 avril 2024 — Un tragique accident de la route a coûté la vie à un homme mercredi soir à PK 10, sur l’axe routier Cotonou-Porto-Novo, lors d’une intervention de la police républicaine destinée à réprimer les infractions au code de la route, notamment le non-port de casque.
Selon les premières informations recueillies, la victime, un conducteur de moto, a été prise en chasse par les forces de l’ordre pour ne pas avoir porté de casque. Dans sa tentative de fuite, l’homme a été percuté de manière violente par un minibus de transport en commun, connu sous le nom de Tokpa Tokpa. L’accident a été fatal, entraînant la mort immédiate du conducteur.
La réaction à cet incident a été vive et immédiate. Des vidéos amateurs, rapidement diffusées sur les réseaux sociaux, montrent un attroupement en colère autour d’un policier présumé responsable de l’accident. Les images captent également des scènes de désordre public, avec des pneus enflammés bloquant la circulation, exacerbant la tension entre la population locale et les autorités.
Cet événement tragique soulève de graves questions sur les méthodes employées par la police républicaine dans l’exécution de ses fonctions. L’usage de la force dans les opérations de contrôle routier et les conséquences potentiellement mortelles de telles interventions nécessitent une évaluation rigoureuse et immédiate.
