🚩 Grève dans l’Éducation au Bénin : les principales  Revendications des Enseignants 🚩

Les enseignants béninois, soutenus par la Féderation des Syndicats de l’Éducation Nationale (FéSEN/CSTB), ont déclaré une grève d’avertissement de 24 heures pour le jeudi 7 mars 2024. Cette action, annoncée dans un contexte de désaccords prolongés avec le gouvernement, souligne l’urgence des réformes nécessaires au sein du système éducatif béninois. Voici une analyse approfondie des revendications principales qui ont conduit à cette mesure radicale.

Depuis plusieurs mois, les négociations entre le gouvernement et les confédérations syndicales stagnent, laissant sans réponse les appels à l’amélioration des conditions de vie et de travail des enseignants et des apprenants. Cette grève d’avertissement s’inscrit comme un cri d’alarme face à une situation jugée intenable par le corps enseignant.

Revendications d’Ordre Général

Allégement Fiscal : Les enseignants exigent une réduction des taxes et impôts pesant sur leurs revenus, afin d’améliorer leur pouvoir d’achat. Amélioration des Infrastructures : La demande porte sur la construction et la réhabilitation d’infrastructures scolaires adéquates, incluant des salles de classe, des laboratoires et des bibliothèques. Réintégration des AME : Les enseignants demandent la réintégration de leurs collègues radiés et un meilleur statut pour les Assistants Moniteurs Éducatifs (AME), souvent confrontés à des conditions précaires. Recrutement et Formation : Le corps enseignant appelle à un recrutement massif d’enseignants qualifiés et à la mise en place de programmes de formation professionnelle adaptés. Revalorisation Salariale : Les enseignants réclament la reconstitution de carrières, la régularisation des promotions et le paiement intégral des primes et arriérés.

Revendications Spécifiques par Ministère

Pour l’Enseignement Primaire et Maternel : L’accent est mis sur la dotation en matériel didactique et sur l’amélioration des conditions de travail des personnels administratifs et des enseignants. Pour l’Enseignement Secondaire : Les revendications portent sur la construction d’infrastructures adéquates et le recrutement de personnel spécialisé, notamment dans les disciplines scientifiques. Pour l’Enseignement Supérieur : La réforme des critères de recrutement des enseignants, la revalorisation des primes de publication et l’amélioration des conditions de recherche sont au cœur des demandes.

La grève annoncée par la FéSEN/CSTB est un indicateur clair de la profondeur des frustrations accumulées par les acteurs du secteur éducatif au Bénin. Les revendications, tant générales que spécifiques, reflètent un désir de réforme globale visant à améliorer la qualité de l’éducation et les conditions de travail des enseignants.
