🇸🇳🗳️ “Détermination du Pastef au Sénégal : Confiant en la Victoire, Même avec un Candidat Incarcéré”
L’atmosphère politique au Sénégal s’intensifie à l’approche de l’élection présidentielle prévue le 25 février. PAM Souley Diob, premier vice-président du parti Pastef, reste fermement confiant dans la victoire de son parti, malgré l’absence de deux figures clés de la politique sénégalaise, Karim Wade et Ousman Sonko, ce dernier étant le leader de Pastef. Dans une interview récente avec France 24 et Radio France Internationale, Diob a exprimé son opinion sur l’état actuel de la démocratie sénégalaise et les défis auxquels son parti est confronté.
Diob a critiqué les procédures judiciaires et les attaques répétées contre Sonko, les qualifiant de stratégies délibérées pour l’empêcher de se présenter à l’élection. Il a souligné que depuis 2014, Pastef et Sonko ont joué un rôle clé dans la politique sénégalaise, et leur exclusion de l’élection actuelle est un coup dur pour la démocratie du pays.
Le vice-président a également commenté sur la demande d’une enquête parlementaire concernant des allégations de corruption de magistrats du Conseil constitutionnel, une initiative qu’il soutient. Diob reste optimiste quant à la libération provisoire de Bassirou Diomaye Faye, un autre membre important de Pastef, actuellement en détention.
Interrogé sur la stratégie électorale de Pastef en l’absence de Sonko, Diob a insisté sur la force du projet politique du parti, affirmant qu’ils sont prêts à mener une campagne efficace, même si leur candidat reste derrière les barreaux. Il a fait référence à des exemples historiques pour soutenir sa conviction que gagner une élection depuis une cellule de prison est possible.
Diob a également abordé les accusations du Président Macky Sall selon lesquelles Sonko et son entourage auraient des liens avec les milieux islamistes, rejetant ces allégations comme non prouvées et faisant partie d’une campagne de diffamation contre Sonko.
Enfin, Diob a parlé de la question de la souveraineté monétaire, soulignant la nécessité de reconsidérer l’utilisation de la monnaie CFA et de promouvoir une monnaie commune au sein de la CEDEAO. Cette position reflète l’engagement de Pastef envers une plus grande indépendance économique et politique pour le Sénégal.
L’entretien a mis en lumière la détermination de Pastef à surmonter les obstacles politiques et judiciaires, et leur engagement à poursuivre la lutte pour un changement démocratique au Sénégal.
