🇳🇬 Nigéria : Bola Ahmed Tinubu Appelle à la Fin des Manifestations et des Effusions de Sang 🌍🛑

ABUJA – Le président nigérian Bola Ahmed Tinubu a appelé dimanche à la cessation immédiate des manifestations contre la vie chère qui secouent le pays le plus peuplé d’Afrique. Cet appel intervient après qu’au moins 13 manifestants ont été tués par les forces de l’ordre, selon un rapport d’Amnesty International. Tinubu a également exhorté à mettre fin aux “effusions de sang” lors de son discours.

Défense des Réformes Libérales

Lors de son intervention, Bola Ahmed Tinubu a défendu ses réformes économiques d’inspiration libérale, insistant sur le fait que son gouvernement ne reviendra pas sur la suppression des subventions publiques au carburant ni sur l’arrêt des multiples taux de change. Pour le chef d’État nigérian, ces mesures sont essentielles pour l’économie du pays et commencent déjà à montrer des effets positifs en matière fiscale. Il a cité l’allocation de budgets historiques aux États et aux gouvernements locaux comme preuve de ces effets bénéfiques.

Tinubu a affirmé avoir entendu le message des manifestants, bien qu’il n’ait pas directement répondu aux slogans des centaines de milliers de Nigérians affirmant avoir faim. Ses promesses visent principalement à renforcer le pouvoir d’achat de ses concitoyens à long terme, notamment par le développement du secteur gazier. Selon lui, cette source d’énergie pourrait réduire de 60 % le coût du transport des biens et des personnes dans le pays.
