🕵️‍♂️🌍 “Russiagate” en Europe : la Belgique lance une enquête sur la corruption présumée d’eurodéputés

La Belgique se retrouve au cœur d’un scandale d’envergure internationale surnommé “Russiagate”, impliquant des allégations de corruption qui touchent plusieurs eurodéputés européens. L’annonce d’une enquête fédérale belge soulève des questions sur l’intégrité politique au sein de l’Union Européenne et met en lumière les stratégies d’influence géopolitique de la Russie.

Déclenchement de l’Enquête

Le Premier ministre belge a récemment annoncé l’ouverture d’une enquête par le parquet fédéral, suite à la découverte d’un réseau d’influence financé par la Russie. Cette révélation intervient après que les services de renseignement tchèques ont mis au jour des activités suspectes, notamment via le site internet “Voice of Europe”, une plateforme basée à Prague et dirigée par des figures proches de Vladimir Poutine. Ce réseau aurait pour but de propager une influence pro-russe au sein du Parlement européen, en particulier à travers le financement de politiciens dans des pays clés tels que la Belgique, les Pays-Bas, la France, l’Allemagne, la Hongrie et la Pologne.

Selon les premiers éléments de l’enquête, bien que les paiements en espèces n’aient pas eu lieu sur le sol belge, l’ingérence, elle, y a été confirmée. Cette dernière aurait pour objectif principal d’affaiblir le soutien européen à l’Ukraine, bénéficiant ainsi à la Russie dans le contexte du conflit en cours. Le site “Voice of Europe” joue un rôle central dans ce schéma, donnant la parole à des politiciens d’extrême droite et publiant des articles critiquant sévèrement l’Ukraine.

L’affaire a suscité l’indignation parmi les eurodéputés, avec des appels à renforcer les mesures contre la désinformation et la propagande russe. Le Premier ministre belge a également souligné la nécessité d’accroître les outils pour combattre ces phénomènes.
