Retrait de l’UIB du Cadre de Concertation des Confessions Religieuses : Une main politique derrière cette décision ? 🤔
Le retrait de l’Union Islamique du Bénin (UIB) du Cadre de Concertation des Confessions Religieuses (CCCR) a suscité de nombreuses interrogations et inquiétudes au sein de la société béninoise. Cette décision, annoncée par le biais des réseaux sociaux, a surpris tant les membres du CCCR que l’opinion publique. Les raisons avancées par l’UIB, jugées “légères” par certains membres du cadre, ont fait l’objet d’une réunion extraordinaire.
Le président du CCCR, s’exprimant à ce sujet, a évoqué la possibilité d’une influence politique derrière cette décision inattendue. Le CCCR, en tant qu’entité de la société civile, a toujours exprimé des opinions sur des sujets de portée nationale, notamment en lien avec les élections et d’autres enjeux sociaux. Cela a conduit à se demander si l’UIB n’a pas été poussée à se retirer en raison de pressions politiques liées à ses prises de position.
Malgré ce retrait, le CCCR affirme qu’il continuera de fonctionner, rappelant que d’autres confessions religieuses, comme l’Église Méthodiste, s’étaient déjà retirées par le passé sans perturber le fonctionnement global du cadre.
Cette situation, bien que préoccupante, appelle à une réflexion sur l’influence politique au sein des organisations religieuses et sur la manière dont celles-ci peuvent maintenir leur indépendance tout en jouant un rôle crucial dans la cohésion sociale.
