🌍🇮🇹 “Le Plan Mattei de Georgia Meloni pour l’Afrique : Nouvelle Ère de Coopération Italo-Africaine”
La chef du gouvernement italien, Georgia Meloni, a lancé une initiative ambitieuse baptisée “Plan Mattei” lors du sommet Italie-Afrique à Rome. Ce sommet, réunissant les dirigeants de plus de 30 pays africains, a pour objectif de renforcer les relations entre l’Italie et l’Afrique, au-delà des simples aides financières et de la lutte contre l’immigration clandestine.
Meloni, assumant la présidence du G7, place l’Afrique au cœur de sa politique étrangère, envisageant un partenariat basé sur l’égalité et le respect mutuel. Inspiré par Enrico Mattei, fondateur de la compagnie énergétique italienne ENI dans les années 50, le plan Mattei vise à transformer l’Italie en un hub énergétique clé pour l’Europe, tirant parti de sa position géographique stratégique.
Le plan de 5,5 milliards d’euros se propose de soutenir le développement social et économique de l’Afrique, tout en changeant radicalement la perspective des relations entre l’Europe et l’Afrique. Meloni critique les approches passées basées sur la charité ou les comportements prédateurs, prônant plutôt un modèle de coopération et de partenariat.
La finalité affichée de ce plan est également de s’attaquer au problème de l’immigration clandestine, en aidant à créer des opportunités et à améliorer les conditions de vie en Afrique. L’Italie espère ainsi non seulement renforcer ses liens avec le continent africain, mais aussi contribuer de manière significative à la stabilité et à la prospérité de la région.
Avec le soutien espéré de l’Union européenne, le plan Mattei pourrait marquer un tournant dans les relations euro-africaines, établissant un nouveau modèle de coopération internationale fondé sur le respect, l’égalité et le développement mutuel.
