Le Bénin : 2e en Afrique pour la qualité de ses politiques et institutions nationales 🇧🇯

Dans le classement CPIA 2023 publié par la Banque mondiale, le Bénin se distingue en se positionnant 2e en Afrique et 1er en Afrique de l’Ouest pour la qualité de ses politiques et institutions nationales. Avec un score de 3,9, le pays se hisse juste derrière le Rwanda, qui occupe la première place avec un score de 4,1. Ce classement, basé sur la gouvernance, l’efficacité des politiques publiques et la gestion des institutions, reflète les efforts continus du Bénin en matière de réformes économiques et institutionnelles.

Des réformes en faveur d’une meilleure gouvernance

Le classement CPIA, ou Country Policy and Institutional Assessment, évalue les pays selon plusieurs critères comme la gestion économique, la politique structurelle, les politiques pour l’inclusion sociale, et la gestion du secteur public. Le Bénin, avec ses réformes audacieuses, continue de renforcer sa gouvernance institutionnelle et la transparence dans la gestion publique. La réduction de la corruption, la modernisation de l’administration publique et l’amélioration des infrastructures ont contribué à cette performance.

La position du Bénin reflète non seulement les progrès économiques, mais aussi les efforts entrepris pour promouvoir un environnement de bonne gouvernance et de transparence. Le pays a entrepris d’importantes réformes visant à améliorer la qualité des services publics, renforcer l’état de droit et moderniser l’économie nationale.

Une dynamique régionale en Afrique de l’Ouest

En se positionnant 1er en Afrique de l’Ouest, le Bénin montre la voie à d’autres pays de la sous-région. Derrière lui, des nations comme le Cap-Vert (également 3,9) et le Sénégal (3,7) illustrent également un engagement significatif envers la modernisation et l’efficacité de leurs politiques publiques. Ce classement 2023 met en évidence la place stratégique du Bénin dans la sous-région et souligne ses efforts continus pour soutenir son développement à travers des institutions solides.
