🇧🇯 L’Allemagne Renforce les Capacités des Forces Armées Béninoises avec des Matériels d’Observation 🇩🇪
La République Fédérale d’Allemagne a offert un important lot de matériels d’observation aux forces armées béninoises engagées dans la défense et la sécurisation du territoire contre le terrorisme.
Le don comprend plusieurs dizaines de caméras thermiques THETIS-C, ainsi que des appareils de vision nocturne spécialement conçus pour la reconnaissance et la surveillance électronique des frontières. Ces équipements sophistiqués vont considérablement améliorer la capacité opérationnelle des forces armées béninoises, permettant une surveillance et une reconnaissance plus efficaces, tant de jour que de nuit.
Amélioration des Capacités Opérationnelles
Selon le Colonel Gomina Faïzou, Chef d’État-Major de la Garde Nationale, ces équipements polyvalents sont un atout majeur pour les forces armées béninoises. “Ces matériels multifonctionnels adaptés permettront l’exécution efficace des missions de jour comme de nuit au sein des unités de combat et des forces spéciales,” a-t-il déclaré. Les caméras thermiques THETIS-C, en particulier, sont reconnues pour leur capacité à détecter des mouvements et des activités à de grandes distances, même dans des conditions de visibilité réduite.
Un Soutien Continu de l’Allemagne
Il s’agit du troisième lot de caméras thermiques financées par le gouvernement de la République Fédérale d’Allemagne au profit des Forces Armées Béninoises. Ces dons, d’une valeur de plus de 4,5 millions d’euros, soit un peu plus de 2 951 820 000 FCFA, témoignent de l’engagement de l’Allemagne à soutenir le Bénin dans sa lutte contre le terrorisme.
Importance de la Coopération Internationale
La coopération entre le Bénin et l’Allemagne dans le domaine de la sécurité et de la défense est cruciale dans le contexte actuel où la menace terroriste reste élevée dans la région du Sahel. Ces équipements d’observation renforceront la capacité des forces armées béninoises à surveiller et sécuriser leurs frontières, empêchant ainsi les incursions et les activités terroristes.
Le soutien de l’Allemagne vient également en réponse aux besoins exprimés par le Bénin pour renforcer ses capacités militaires et de sécurité. Cette assistance s’inscrit dans une série d’initiatives visant à renforcer la coopération bilatérale et à promouvoir la stabilité et la sécurité dans la région.
