Selon les autorités nigérianes, les perturbations résultent de pannes sur le système d’alimentation du Nigéria, affectant gravement la stabilité du réseau électrique régional. Le fournisseur nigérian AEDC a émis plusieurs communiqués confirmant l’origine des problèmes techniques, tout en assurant que des équipes techniques travaillent activement à rétablir la situation.
