Bohicon :  Deux jeunes tabassés par des agents de la police républicaine à Saclo  ⚖️🚨

Un nouvel incident impliquant des agents de police a été rapporté dans la nuit du 27 novembre 2024 à Bohicon, dans le quartier Saclo. Un citoyen béninois, affirme avoir été violemment agressé par un policier qu’il identifie comme étant le commissaire de Wassaho. Cet événement relance les débats sur les bavures policières et la responsabilité des forces de l’ordre dans un État de droit.

Une nuit qui vire au cauchemar

Selon le témoignage  , la victime  rentrait chez lui après avoir rendu visite à un ami. Alors qu’il était accompagné par ce dernier sur une courte distance, deux policiers à moto les auraient interpellés. Les agents auraient exigé une pièce d’identité. Le citoyen a répondu en présentant une copie scannée   sur son téléphone. Cette réponse aurait provoqué une réaction violente de l’un des policiers, qui lui aurait asséné des coups de poing, le projetant finalement au sol.

Le policier, identifié  comme étant le commissaire de Wassaho, aurait justifié son comportement par ces mots : « Vous savez qui je suis ? ». Après l’agression, le policier serait remonté sur sa moto, laissant la victime blessée et choquée.

Une montée des inquiétudes

Cet incident rappelle des situations similaires, comme l’affaire Fayçal Ouorou à Parakou, qui avait suscité une indignation nationale. La répétition de ces événements jette une ombre sur la crédibilité des forces de l’ordre et alimente une méfiance croissante de la population. Le citoyen agressé affirme  également  avoir tenté de joindre le numéro d’urgence mis à disposition pour signaler de tels abus, sans succès. Ce constat met en lumière l’insuffisance des mécanismes de recours disponibles pour les citoyens confrontés à des violences policières.
