Un jeune Béninois en quête d’une vie meilleure, a tragiquement perdu la vie en Russie. Installé à Astrakhan, où il exerçait comme mannequin, Joël Lantefo, père de deux enfants vivant au Nigéria avec leur mère, a été retrouvé mort dans des circonstances effroyables dans la nuit du vendredi 4 au samedi 5 octobre 2024.
Selon des témoignages, le jeune homme aurait été étranglé et présentait des blessures aux mains causées par une arme blanche. Ce crime brutal a laissé sa famille dans une profonde tristesse, notamment sa femme et ses deux enfants qui devront désormais affronter la vie sans lui.

Joël Rodrigue LANTEFO, qui était récemment rentré au Bénin en raison de la pandémie de Covid-19, était retourné en Russie il y a quelques mois, espérant relancer sa carrière et subvenir aux besoins de sa famille. Aujourd’hui, la communauté béninoise, ainsi que ses proches, réclament justice pour cet acte odieux et demandent des réponses sur les circonstances de cet assassinat.
