Innovation et Patrimoine : Les Nouvelles Ambitions du Bénin dans les Projets du PAG

Le Ministre du Cadre de Vie et des Transports en charge du Développement Durable (MCVT), José Didier Tonato, a entamé une tournée d’inspection stratégique des grands chantiers en cours dans le cadre du Programme d’Action du Gouvernement (PAG). Cette démarche s’inscrit dans la vision du gouvernement de redynamiser l’infrastructure et de valoriser le patrimoine culturel du Bénin.

Un Nouveau Siège pour l’Assemblée Nationale

L’un des projets phares inspectés par le MCVT est le chantier de construction du nouveau siège de l’Assemblée Nationale à Porto-Novo. Avec un taux d’exécution impressionnant de 90% sur les gros œuvres, le projet s’annonce comme un jalon important dans le renouveau architectural et institutionnel du Bénin. La livraison de ce projet ambitieux est prévue pour avril 2025, marquant une étape significative dans l’évolution du paysage politique et urbain.

Le Musée International du Vaudou/ Orisha : Un Projet de Résonance Culturelle

Le Musée International du Vaudou/ Orisha, quant à lui, est un projet qui symbolise la valorisation et la préservation du riche héritage culturel béninois. Situé sur un site de plus de 15 000 m2, le musée promet d’être un espace dynamique de culture et d’éducation. Malgré les défis liés à la nature argileuse du sol, le chantier devrait être achevé en juillet 2024, avec une rallonge de huit mois accordée pour assurer la qualité et la durabilité des infrastructures.

Un Nouveau Visage pour la Place Bayol

La Place Bayol, un lieu emblématique de Porto-Novo, bénéficiera également d’une transformation significative avec l’installation d’une nouvelle statue du Roi TOFFA 1er. Cette initiative vise à réaffirmer l’importance historique et culturelle de la ville tout en améliorant son attractivité touristique.

Un Investissement Significatif pour l’Avenir

Le coût total du projet de construction du Musée International du Vaudou s’élève à environ 16,66 milliards de FCFA, témoignant de l’engagement du gouvernement à investir dans des projets qui façonnent l’avenir du Bénin sur les plans culturel, social et économique.

Vers un Nouveau Chapitre de Développement

Avec ces visites, le MCVT souligne l’engagement du gouvernement à réaliser les objectifs du PAG, marquant ainsi un nouveau chapitre dans le développement et la modernisation du Bénin. Ces projets, une fois achevés, devraient non seulement améliorer l’infrastructure du pays, mais aussi renforcer son identité culturelle et son rayonnement à l’international.
