🤝🌍   Shegun Bakari en visite au Nigeria

 Dans une période marquée par une recherche accrue de la stabilité régionale et de la prospérité partagée, le Bénin fait un pas de plus vers la consolidation de ses relations avec ses voisins. C’est dans ce cadre que le Ministre des Affaires étrangères du Bénin, Shegun Bakari, a été accueilli ce vendredi par son homologue nigérian, Yusuf Tuggar.

Flanqué d’une délégation officielle béninoise, la visite du ministre Bakari a clairement mis en lumière l’importance des discussions portant sur les relations bilatérales. Ces entretiens ont également abordé l’alliance régionale, un concept qui prend forme et vitalité, notamment sous le patronage des Chefs d’État Patrice Talon du Bénin et Bola Ahmed Tinubu du Nigeria.

Un nouvel élan pour la Communauté prospère

Il est indéniable que l’Afrique de l’Ouest est à un carrefour décisif de son histoire. Entre développement économique, crises sécuritaires et défis environnementaux, la nécessité d’une union forte entre les nations est plus que jamais évidente. C’est dans ce contexte que la notion de “Communauté prospère” promue par les présidents Talon et Tinubu prend tout son sens.

“Nos pays ont plus à gagner en collaborant étroitement qu’en restant isolés”, a déclaré Shegun Bakari lors de sa conférence de presse conjointe avec Yusuf Tuggar.

Le Bénin et le Nigeria : une histoire commune, un futur partagé

Si les relations historiques entre les deux pays ont connu des hauts et des bas, cette visite témoigne de la volonté des deux géants de l’Afrique de l’Ouest de regarder vers l’avenir. La visite de Shegun Bakari n’est pas seulement symbolique; elle trace la voie vers une collaboration renforcée, basée sur la confiance mutuelle et le respect des intérêts communs.

Ainsi, au-delà des discours, cette visite illustre le souhait profond des dirigeants des deux pays de travailler main dans la main pour un avenir plus radieux pour leurs citoyens.
