📚🩺 “L’Assurance Maladie Obligatoire au Bénin: Éclairages sur le Décret d’Application”🏥🔍

Les responsables des syndicats, du patronat et des assureurs du Bénin ont eu l’occasion de se familiariser avec le contenu du décret d’application relatif à l’Assurance Maladie Obligatoire (AMO). Cette initiative gouvernementale, dirigée par le Ministre de la Santé, Monsieur Benjamin HOUNKPATIN, et la Ministre des Affaires Sociales et de la Microfinance, Madame Véronique TOGNIFODE, a pour but de clarifier les implications de cette politique sanitaire importante.

La loi 2020-37 qui rend obligatoire l’assurance maladie en République du Bénin marque une étape cruciale dans l’amélioration de l’accès aux soins de santé pour tous. Les dirigeants ont partagé le contenu de ce décret avec les acteurs clés du secteur pour assurer une compréhension commune et stimuler un dialogue constructif.

Des questions spécifiques, telles que la couverture des retraités du secteur privé, le nombre minimal d’enfants à prendre en charge, l’impact sur la survie des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises (PME) et le contenu du panier de soins de base ont été abordées. Des éclaircissements appropriés ont été fournis par le gouvernement pour souligner la justesse de leurs choix.

Toutefois, le gouvernement a réaffirmé sa volonté de rester ouvert à toute possibilité de réajustement en fonction de l’évolution de la mise en œuvre de la politique, soulignant l’équilibre nécessaire entre l’action sociale et la durabilité. Cette interaction a été accueillie positivement par tous les participants, qui ont salué la démarche du gouvernement. L’assurance maladie obligatoire est un pas important vers une meilleure accessibilité aux soins de santé pour tous les citoyens béninois.
