🔄💬 Johannes Dagnon : Une Candidature Enveloppée de Controverses et de Désaveux Politiques au Bénin 🇧🇯

L’horizon politique béninois, en vue des élections présidentielles de 2026, se teinte déjà de nuances controversées avec l’émergence des mouvements de soutiens à diverses personnalités.  L’émergence de Johannes Dagnon, cousin du chef de l’État Patrice Talon, et les rumeurs le situant comme Dauphin de Patrice Talon continuent d’alimenter la toile. Mais ces derniers jours, une cérémonie qui devait s’inscrirere dans une trame de soutiens organisés et été marquée par un refus surprenant.

La révélation de l’intérêt porté à la candidature de Dagnon, Conseiller spécial du président Talon, s’est faite dans un climat de fortes controverses, sur un autre potentiel candidat ; Olivier Boko. Alors que les groupes de soutien le concernant voient le jour  sans cesse , éveillant l’intérêt des médias et de l’opinion publique,   une récente réunion censée rassembler des partisans  de Johannes Dagnon, a plutôt mis en lumière des dissensions curieuses.

Trois figures politiques de renom – Benjamin Dako, Urbain Amègbedji et Arnaud Zannou – ont publiquement contesté leur association avec cet élan en faveur de Johannes Dagnon. Initialement réunis pour discuter des réalisations du Programme d’Actions du Gouvernement (PAG), leur surprise a été palpable lorsque le débat a dérivé vers la présidentielle de 2026 et la figure de Dagnon. Leur désaveu souligne un malaise plus profond lié à la dynamique de sélection des candidats autour de Patrice Talon.

Cet incident rappelle l’affaire Oswald Homeky, ex-ministre des Sports, épinglé par le président Talon pour avoir publiquement soutenu Olivier Boko. Le reproche central était la violation de la réforme du système partisan, qui préconise une désignation des candidats par les partis politiques, illustrant une volonté de centraliser et de contrôler les candidatures au sein du spectre politique du Bénin.

La situation autour de Johannes Dagnon, par conséquent, ne se lit pas seulement comme une pré-candidature présidentielle mais sert d’écho aux tensions et aux enjeux de pouvoir qui traversent le paysage politique béninois . Au-delà de la figure de Dagnon, cette controverse expose les limites du consensus politique et les fissures au sein de la majorité, questionnant la viabilité du modèle partisan actuel face à l’ambition politique individuelle et la quête de légitimité démocratique. Les mois à venir s’avèrent cruciaux pour observer comment ces dynamiques influenceront le paysage électoral de 2026 et au-delà, mettant en lumière la complexité de la gouvernance et de la sélection des élites politiques au Bénin.
